So, I am left scratching my head. Why is it such a big secret? Is it something so difficult that it's beyond the realm of human understanding? The questions for this debate are extremely important in the upcoming election, and the people behind this mystery selection process get to frame the debate, choosing questions based on their "secret" process. After the Michael Moore fiasco, I'm left wondering how many people part of a Republican think tank are selecting these questions.
Mr. Anderson Cooper stated that there is no process in place for the users to simply vote which questions will make it onto the actual debate. This insults my intelligence. There is no such system in place because they did not put one in place. It's not as though it's difficult. There are already websites that allow the rating of a YouTube video on a myriad of topics.
In conclusion, CNN is under a specter of collusion between itself and special interest groups. CNN showed the people choosing the videos that they wanted us to see. They then went on to mention that the team they showed us and "a handful of others" are involved in the selection process. All I ask is for CNN to disclose all pertinent information related to how this mystery selection process works, or to simply stop claiming they are the "most trusted name in news".
